I wake you up and you thought you had a 2 hour delay and when I said no, school is on time, you said, "Man, I overslept for nothing". You reached for my hand in the parking lots and crosswalks as we crossed to the sidewalks. You breathed your monkey breath on Dad this morning instead of me. You did your homework without even being asked, and as soon as we came home. These are the things I love about Nathan today!

Going to the store with me tonight and being so well mannered that the saleswoman could not stop telling me what a great kid you are. When leaving the store, you thanked the saleswoman for her time and told her what a nice store she had and told her it was very nice to meet her while you shook her hand. Holding my hand going down the escalator to make sure "I" would be ok. This is what I love about Nathan today!

I am so proud of Nathan! This morning he told me that he wants to stop his guitar club, so that he can focus on student council & helping people. I said I was so proud of him for wanting to help and give back and that I was 100% behind him and he said "No Mom, I am 100% behind you and the help that you do." Well I burst into tears and hugged him & told him how fantastic of a kid he is and I am so proud to be his Mom!

The ABSOLUTE JOY on your face when you learned we were taking Harley home tonight & keeping and loving him for 10 days (boy was this a hard secret to keep) announcing that Harley is happy to be here, he already pooped in the yard, covering Harley with your favorite blanket, letting Harley sleep in your spot in bed & giving him one of your pillows so he would be comfy.
